Paul said, “Bound with chains of the Spirit I am going…[Acts 20:22 Greek]
He was a madman on a mission….he was going to bring the truth that sets
people free all around the world-no mater what! He said, “Bound with chains of
the Spirit I am going to Jerusalem. not knowing what will happen to me there
I only know that in every city the Holy Spirit warns me that prison and hardships
are facing me. However, I consider my life worth nothing to me if only I may
finish the race and the job the Lord Jesus has given me—of testifying to the good
news of God’s grace.”[Acts 20-22-24]. He was BOUND with CHAINS of the SPIRIT
that pulled him around the world! He traveled on his way to Jerusalem and some
brothers urged him not to go but Paul was BOUND with CHAINS of the SPIRIT…
he had to go!! He was BOUND with CHAINS of the SPIRIT!!
~Why Are You Weeping & Breaking My Heart I’m Ready to be Bound & Die
In another city Agabus the Prophet took Paul’s belt and tied his own hands
and feet with it and said, ‘In this way the Jewish leaders in Jerusalem will bind
the owner of this belt and will hand him over to the Nations.’” When the people
heard this they pleaded with Paul not to go. But Paul said. “Why are you weeping
and breaking my heart? I ready not only to be bound, but to DIE…for the name
of the Lord Jesus.”[Acts 21:1-14]. Paul was BOUND by CHAINS of the SPIRIT and
he had to GO!! He was BOUND by CHAINS of the SPIRIT!!
~Bound with Chains of the Spirit and of Men
Paul traveled to Jerusalem and shortly the whole city broke into a riot!!
They dragged Paul out of the city and were beating him and trying to kill him
The Roman Troops came with their officers and soldiers came and arrested
Paul and BOUND HIM WITH 2 CHAINS!! [Acts 21:27-33] Now Paul was
BOUND with CHAINS of the SPIRIT and of MEN!!!!!!!!!!!
BOUND with CHAINS of the SPIRIT and of MEN!!!!!!!!!!!

We also are BOUND with CHAINS of the SPIRIT and are commanded
to GO and reach ALL the Lost nations!! BOUND with CHAINS of the SPIRIT!!

BOUND with CHAINS of the SPIRIT I AM GOING…

Paul said, “Bound with chains of the Spirit I am going…prisons and hardships
await…However, I consider my life worth nothing to me if only I may finish the
race and finish the job…of testifying to the gospel of God’s favor.”[Acts 20:22-24].
He was BOUND with CHAINS of the SPIRIT dragging him around the world to the Lost!
~I Consider My Life Worth Nothing
Paul was saying, “I don’t care about me compared to finishing my job! Stone me!
Hate me! Spite me! Imprison me…I don’t care! I have a job to finish”! People begged him
not to go but he was saying, “You don’t get it! Why are you weeping and breaking my
heart? I am ready to be bound and die! Because I just don’t care…I have a job to finish!”
“BOUND with CHAINS of the SPIRIT I AM GOING!!!!” Persecute me! Bind me with
chains! Kill me!! I don’t care! I don’t care! I DON’T CARE…I have a job to finish!
~One Man Speaking the Truth Moved a Whole City
Paul travels to Jerusalem and they WHOLE CITY of JERUSALEM was moved & broke
into a riot and the people came running from all directions! [Acts 21:30] One man
speaking the truth moved a city! They seized Paul, dragged him from the Temple and
tried to kill him! Paul didn’t care. He said, “BOUND with CHAINS of the SPIRIT I AM
GOING!!!!” One man speaking the truth can move a whole city!!!
~Violence…Carried by Soldiers Bound with 2 Chains
The Rioters stop beating Paul when Soldiers come and bind him with 2 chains!!
When they took him away…”The violence of the mob was so great he had to be
carried by soldiers.”[Acts 21:25] The crowd kept shouting, “Away with him.”
Paul is now BOUND with CHAINS of the Spirit and MEN!
“BOUND with CHAINS of the SPIRIT I AM GOING!!!!”
The VIOLENCE is so great he has to be carried by Soldiers!!
“BOUND with CHAINS of the SPIRIT I AM GOING!!!!”
The mob is shouting, “Away with him!!”
“BOUND with CHAINS of the SPIRIT I AM GOING!!!!”
Then this man who is bound with chains of the Spirit and men wants to speak!
~One Man Speaking the Truth Causes Riots
Paul speaks to the mob of rioters. “Then they raised their voices and shouted,
“Away with him! He’s not fit to live.” [Acts 22:22] One man speaking the truth
causes riots! The mob shouted, threw off their cloaks and flung dust into the air!
BOUND with CHAINS of the SPIRIT and of MEN!!
One man speaking the truth causes riots!
~Except for These Chains
Later on when Paul was on trial King Agrippa said, “Do you think that in such
a short time you can persuade me to be a Christian?” Paul said, “Short time or
long-I pray that not only you but all who are listening to me today may become
what I am-EXCEPT FOR THESE CHAINS!!” [Acts 26:28,29]

AMBASSADOR IN CHAINS 

Paul says in Eph.6:19,20 “Pray for me, that whenever I open my mouth, words
may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the good news, for which
I am an Ambassador in Chains. Pray that I may declare it fearlessly.”
~In Chains for Christ
Paul says in Phil. 1:13,14 “It has become clear throughout the whole palace
guard and to everyone else that I am in chains for Christ. Because of my chains
most of the brothers in the Lord have been encouraged to speak the Word of God
more courageously and fearlessly.”
~Remember My Chains
Paul says in Col. 4:18,”Remember my chains!!”
“Remember my chains!!”…”Remember my chains!!”…”Remember my chains!!”
“Remember my chains!!”…”Remember my chains!!”…”Remember my chains!!”
~Chained Like a Criminal…But God’s Word Not Chained
Paul says in 2 Tim. 2:8,9 “Remember Jesus Christ, raised from the dead…
This is my Gospel for which I am suffering even to the point of being chained like
a criminal. But God’s Word is not chained.” God’s Word is not chained!!
~I Have Finished the Race
Finally at the end of Paul’s life, he is still bound by chains of men! Many have
left him, including everyone in the Providence of Asia. He says, “I am being
poured out like a drink offering [to death]. The time for my departure, cutting
away of the anchor has come. I have fought the good fight. I have finished
the race. I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the Crown of
Righteousness.”[2 Tim. 4:6-8]. Earlier he said, “I consider my life worth
nothing if only I may finish the race”…Paul finished the race…in chains!
~All Nations Might Hear
Paul said, “At my 1st Defense no one came to my support, everyone
deserted me. May it not be held against them.  But the Lord stood
at my side and gave me dynamite strength so that THROUGH ME
the MESSAGE MIGHT BE FULLY PUBLICIZED and ALL NATIONS
MIGHT HEAR IT!!” [2 Tim. 4:16,17]
~Delivered from Lions Mouth…Safely to Heavenly Kingdom
Paul finishes saying, “I was delivered from the lion’s mouth. The Lord will
rescue me from every evil attack and will bring me safely to his Heavenly
Kingdom. To him be a high opinion for ever and ever.”[2 Tim.4:17,18]
~Your Turn Now
This should be the deep heart’s cry of every person with a heart!!!
“Put me in prison! Persecute me! Hate me! Hate me!! Hate me!! I DON’T
CARE ABOUT ME…I DON’T CARE!! I DON’T CARE!! I DON’T CARE…
IF ONLY I MAY FINISH THE RACE AND FINISH THE JOB OF TESTIFYING
of the good news of God’s Grace! I BOUND with CHAINS of the SPIRIT!!
BOUND with CHAINS of the SPIRIT I AM GOING to ALL nations!!
BOUND with CHAINS of the SPIRIT I AM GOING to Africa!!
BOUND with CHAINS of the SPIRIT I AM GOING to India!!
BOUND with CHAINS of the SPIRIT I AM GOING to Russia!!
Weep! Break my heart! I am not only willing to be bound but to DIE for the Name!
I am one who speaks the truth that can cause a riot! Beat me! Try to kill me! CHAIN ME
WITH 2 CHAINS…because of the violence have the authorities carry me as the mob shouts,
‘Away with him!’…But BOUND with CHAINS of the SPIRIT I AM GOING!!
BOUND with CHAINS of the SPIRIT…I AM GOING to ALL NATIONS and make disciples!!”
And then finally one day I will say, “I have fought the good fight. I have finished
the race. I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the Crown of Righteousness.
The Lord will rescue me from every evil attack & will bring me safely to his Heavenly Kingdom.”
